Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ace That Interview (the "Service"), operated by Byte Bright. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Ace That Interview is an interview practice tool. It generates practice interview questions based on a job advertisement and your profile, evaluates your answers using automated analysis and provides feedback and suggestions. The Service is a practice aid only.

2. No guarantee of outcomes

Automated feedback and scores are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent. They are provided to help you practise, not as a professional assessment. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in a job offer or any particular interview outcome.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
One account per person; do not share credentials or resell access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to submit content you do not have the right to submit;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits and quotas;
scrape, reverse engineer or resell the Service or its outputs as your own product;
upload malware, or content that is abusive, defamatory or infringing.

5. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment processor, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Usage allowances (such as the number of interviews) apply per billing period and do not roll over unless we state otherwise in the product.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your resume, answers and job advertisement text). You grant us the licence needed to process that content — including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy — solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may impose reasonable usage limits to protect the Service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost opportunities or profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms the Service or other users.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Byte Bright's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms: support@acethatinterview.ai.
